I just returned from a wonderful trip to Italy and France with a group of friends. This poster by Scorpion Dagger for the Musee de Cluny sums up the experience.
In some museums or churches I became overwhelmed with all of the images. I decided to focus on hands. Here are some of those hands.

A feast!
What a heartwarming collection of hands, Julie. Such wonderful images to carry me through the day.
I love this collection of “hands”. Thank you, Julie. It gives me a whole new way to focus when taking in an exhibit.
Thank you! Your select photos brought back memories of our trip to Italy 5 years ago. I think I toured every Cathedral and most museums I could find. I was especially drawn to marble figures.
Fascinating!
Thank you for sharing these evocative images, as well as the reminder that where we direct our focus is a choice.
Thank you for sharing. I like the idea of focusing on one feature while in a museum to avoid being overwhelmed and coming home with a jumble of unrelated images.
It’s very powerful to see these photos, to focus on just the hands. Thank you for sharing!
I love what John Singer Sargent said “a portrait is a picture with something wrong with the hands”

But seriously, thank you for the thought provoking images🤔
And how wonderful you could enjoy a Mediterranean Adventure. Good on you👏🏻
